George Alexandru Baldovin George Baldovin rođen je u rumunjskome gradu Iasiju, gdje je odrastao u umjetničkoj obitelji. U svijet glazbe uveo ga je brat Jul Baldovin. Svoju karijeru započeo je kao gitarist i vokalist u različitim žanrovima glazbe, poput popa, folka, countryja, bluesa, jazza. U dvanaestoj je godini započeo obrazovanje u baletnoj školi „Octav Bancila“ u Iasiju, a uz to je nastavio njegovati svoju ljubav prema glazbi. S bratom je osnovao bend pod imenom „Baldwin Brothers“. Godine djelovanja glazbenog sastava bile su ispunjene raznim nagradama i koncertima u Rumunjskoj i izvan nje. Karijeru profesionalnog baletana George je započeo u ranoj dobi, u Rumunjskom nacionalnom kazalištu u Iasiju i u Constanti. Uskoro se pridružio Slovenskom nacionalnom kazalištu u Mariboru pod vodstvom Eduarda Cluga. Preselio se u London 2007. gdje se pridružio ansamblu European Ballet London. Potom je 2008. sudjelovao u izvedbi u zagrebačkom HNK u koji se vratio 2010. i tamo ostao gotovo deset godina. U svojoj je karijeri plesao kao polusolist i solist u svim glavnim naslovima klasičnog, ali i modernog baleta. Osim posvećenosti baletnoj karijeri George sklada instrumentalnu elektroničku glazbu za moderne i suvremene balete, za medije i razne događaje te surađuje s mnogim glazbenim umjetnicima. Suvremeni ples Suvremeni ples pojavio se sredinom 20. stoljeća. To je plesni žanr u kojem se isprepliće nekoliko plesnih stilova, ali i utjecaji klasičnog i modernog baleta. Smatra se jako izražajnom i dinamičnom formom plesa. Povezuje fluidnost pokreta, plesne pokrete koji se izvode na podu, odskoke, padove i poigravanje s gravitacijom. Budući da ga ne odlikuju stroga pravila, suvremeni balet vrlo je pristupačna vrsta plesa sa širokim rasponom pokreta te se može izvoditi uz bilo koji stil glazbe. Neoklasični balet Neoklasični balet nastao je 1920-ih iz klasičnoga baleta te se dalje razvijao kroz 20. stoljeće. Primjenjuje napredne tehnike klasičnog baleta za otkrivanje novih plesnih ideja. Odlikuje ga minimalizam u kostimografiji i scenografiji te ne podliježe strogoj i rigoroznoj strukturi. Neoklasični balet smatra se i preporodom ili adaptacijom klasičnog baleta, a definiraju ga apstraktnost pokreta, nove poze koje probijaju okvire klasičnog baleta, ali i odvažnost pokreta. We are thrilled to have you join us for this extraordinary ballet educational event. Before you proceed with your participation, please read and understand the following terms and conditions: 1. Event Dates and Duration: a. Master Ballet Education will take place from 1 July 2023 until 8 July 2023. b. The event comprises an 8-day program, consisting of a presentation day, 6 days of workshops and the stage presentation day. Workshops include various classical ballet classes, training workshops, classical ballet technique workshops, modern ballet, contemporary workshops, repertoire workshops, and neoclassical workshops. c.
